Net Solutions began when Sameer Jain, in the late 90s became bored with the family business and wanted to do something with this new fangled thing called Internet.
After more than 15 years, 3000 clients across all 6 continent and 10000 projects we are a nearly 200 strong design and development agency working on web, mobile and product development with a vast bouquet of services.
This is the story of those 16 years. This is the story of Net Solutions.

SiliconIndia recognizes Net Solutions as one of the Top 100 Mobile Apps Vendors in India for 2013, and lists Net Solutions in their yearly SiliconIndia Mobile Apps Vendor Directory.
Net Solutions achieves Gold Partner level in the Kentico Partner Program, and becomes one of the only three companies from India which are Kentico Gold Certified Partners.
Samsung Electronics approves Net Solutions as the Silver Partner of Samsung Enterprise Alliance Program for our proven expertise in building enterprise mobility solutions covering various business scenarios.
Net Solutions moves its operations to its fully owned new space in Rajiv Gandhi Chandigarh Technology Park (RGCTP), Chandigarh.
Run To The Beat website, developed by Net Solutions, wins Kentico Site of the Year 2012 award in the Best Travel and Events Site category. The website was built on ASP.NET-based Kentico CMS platform to promote London's biggest and most unique half marathon event - Run To The Beat, powered by Nike+.
Net Solutions becomes one of the first Amazon Web Services partners to be designated a Standard Consulting Partner. This means access and support from the AWS team for clients who want Net Solutions to build, design or migrate new applications on AWS
Net Solutions aggressively adopts the newly launched and yet to be finalized HTML 5 language for responsive web development. Since then, it developed several HTML5 powered websites.
Net Solutions grows to 170 employees, with a 10 person team working only on iPhone app development. Its app business gets the company featured on the Wall Street Journal.
The company becomes a Microsoft Gold Partner, validating its expertise in designing complex IT solutions using Microsoft technologies.
Net Solutions gets ISO 9001 accreditation.
The company organizes the first iPhone DevCamp India in Chandigarh.
Net Solutions becomes one of the early adopters of mobile and starts developing on the beta version of iPhone SDK (later iOS SDK). The iPhone 3G which is the first version of the iPhone would be released in the Indian market in 2008.
The next big moment comes when the office is shifted to the Chandigarh Technology Park. With a neighbour like IBM and even better infrastructure, the company is finally playing with the big boys. The headcount now stands at 80.
Net Solutions wins a design project from Microsoft by beating companies from four different countries. More clients and challenging projects follow. A decision to work with startups was taken. Since then several startup clients have seen successful exits and acquisitions.
The company moves from Panchkula to the incubation center of the Punjab Engineering College at Chandigarh. The head count, now at 20 will explode exponentially because of better location and more clients.
Magnus Software Inc., a Michigan based agency approaches Net Solutions (now a two person firm) to build an audio book renting portal that will be deployed in the Ford, Chrysler and GM intranets for training purposes. Magnus remains a client since then, and Net Solutions gets its first big break.
Sameer, unhappy running his family business but fascinated with the Internet, starts playing around and singlehandedly builds a portal. Net Solutions India begins more as a hobby than as a serious business.
